Our flock
We breed to Standard with an emphasis on great temperament and fine wooly bodies. Our rams have been chosen for what they can contribute to the flock: diverse genetics and the best characteristics the breed can offer. We are very close to being completely sold out of lambs for the current year but if you wish to go on a waiting list for the following year, a $100 deposit per lamb is required. The deposit is non-refundable unless we cannot supply the correct gender. Unfortunately, predicting or choosing colour is much like a game of roulette and therefore, no guarantees can be made. We will, however, do our best to fulfill requests on a first come, first serve basis. Because sheep are such social animals, we will not sell only one sheep to a “sheepless” person. The sheep need to live, at the very least, in a pair. Hence, the affordable prices for a pair of neutered rams are listed below. All lambs must be paid for in full before leaving our farm. Personal cheques are accepted but must clear the banks before the sheep will be released. The lambs can be flown via air cargo, shipped by truck (I know of a shipping company I can recommend) or picked up at our farm. Before leaving our farm, the lambs are vaccinated with Glanvac 6 or its equivalent, ears are tagged, and tails are docked. At the buyer's expense, we can have a vet examine the prospective sheep to verify its good condition. We do guarantee that the lambs are in perfect health upon leaving our farm. Unfortunately, due to our closed flock status, once the sheep leave our farm, they cannot return.
